Brazil Chapter

About

The Brazil Chapter is a regional group within the CMT Association that serves professionals engaged in technical analysis across Brazil, South America's largest economy. It connects local members, candidates, regulators, and financial institutions to foster professional standards and advance the discipline of technical analysis. The chapter organizes in-person networking events, educational presentations, and provides tailored resources to support the unique market dynamics in Brazil. It acts as the national hub for member engagement, promoting the Chartered Market Technician® (CMT) Program and ensuring alignment with local governance requirements. Through collaboration with partners like APIMEC, the chapter strengthens the presence and relevance of technical analysis in the Brazilian financial landscape.

Mission

The mission of the Brazil Chapter is to advance technical analysis and uphold professional standards within Brazil’s financial community by delivering relevant education, networking, and candidate support. We engage members and stakeholders through local events, national communications, and partnerships with regulators and financial media. We prioritize integrity, growth, and collaboration, ensuring our activities reflect the needs of the Brazilian market and the values of the CMT Association. By providing resources, facilitating knowledge exchange, and fostering a vibrant community, we support members’ career development and promote the recognition of the Chartered Market Technician® (CMT) designation. Our governance practices maintain consistent standards and accountability across city-level Communities, strengthening the chapter’s role as a trusted local leader in technical analysis.
