It serves as a national platform for professional development, networking, and advocacy specifically tailored to the Australian financial markets. The Chapter organizes local events, technical analysis presentations, and candidate support initiatives while ensuring alignment with both local regulations and global CMT Association standards. By fostering collaboration among members, employers, regulators, and educational institutions, the Chapter advances the recognition and practice of technical analysis in Australia.

CMT Association chapters connect charterholders, candidates, and market practitioners in a shared region. Chapter leaders organize local programming, welcome new members, and represent the Association to nearby markets and schools.

Core Responsibilities

Steward the CMT Association mission at
Steward the CMT Association mission at the national level, extending engagement to members and stakeholders beyond individual city communities
Lead national advocacy
Lead national advocacy for technical analysis with regulators, financial media, and institutional employers
Provide governance oversight
Provide governance oversight and leadership for city Communities, ensuring consistent standards, reporting, and volunteer support across the country
