France Chapter

About

The France Chapter is a national network of Chartered Market Technician® (CMT) Association members and candidates focused on advancing technical analysis within France’s financial industry. It connects professionals across multiple cities, fostering local engagement through educational events, networking, and candidate support aligned with the CMT Program’s global standards. The chapter acts as a bridge between the CMT Association and French financial regulators, media, and institutions, promoting the recognition and responsible application of technical analysis in one of Europe’s key financial centers. It ensures consistent governance and volunteer leadership across city communities while maintaining compliance with local regulations.

Mission

The France Chapter’s mission is to support the professional growth of its members and candidates by providing a high-quality platform for education, networking, and advocacy within the French financial market. The chapter upholds the values of rigor, integrity, and collaboration by organizing events, facilitating study groups, and engaging with national regulators and media to advance the role of technical analysis. It fosters a cohesive community that reflects the CMT Association’s standards and promotes the Chartered Market Technician® designation as an essential credential in France. Through consistent governance and strategic partnerships, the chapter aims to enhance member engagement and ensure technical analysis remains a respected discipline in the domestic investment landscape.
