About

The Hong Kong Chapter is a regional community within the CMT Association that serves members, candidates, and stakeholders in one of Asia-Pacific’s foremost financial centers. It facilitates in-person networking, educational events, and candidate support tailored to the unique market environment of Hong Kong. The Chapter connects technical analysts and financial professionals through partnerships with institutions like Bloomberg and local regulators, fostering a vibrant professional network. It supports the CMT Program by providing resources and events that enhance the practice and recognition of technical analysis in the region. The Chapter also ensures compliance with local governance and reporting standards, maintaining alignment with the broader CMT Association mission.

Mission

The mission of the Hong Kong Chapter is to advance the professional practice of technical analysis by delivering relevant education, fostering meaningful networking, and supporting CMT Program candidates within the region. We uphold values of excellence, connectivity, and market relevance through high-quality seminars, strategic partnerships, and active volunteer leadership. The Chapter cultivates a collaborative environment that links members with local regulators, financial media, and institutional employers to promote the recognition of technical analysis. We operate with transparency and adherence to governance standards to maintain trust and integrity. By engaging our diverse financial community, we aim to strengthen technical analysis as a vital discipline in Hong Kong’s financial ecosystem.
