Awards Committee

About

The Awards Committee manages the CMT Association’s service and volunteer awards program, recognizing members who contribute their time and expertise to advance the organization’s mission. Composed of active professional members and charter holders, the committee defines award criteria, oversees a fair nomination and selection process, and coordinates the presentation of honors. By highlighting the efforts of volunteers, mentors, and leaders worldwide, the committee strengthens community engagement and promotes a culture of service within the global membership. Its role is distinct from the Charles H. Dow Award committee and focuses exclusively on service-based recognition.

Mission

The mission of the Awards Committee is to uphold a transparent and equitable process for identifying and honoring individuals who demonstrate exceptional volunteerism and leadership within the CMT Association community. The committee establishes clear criteria and manages nominations to ensure impartial selection of award recipients. It values integrity, appreciation, and community spirit, aiming to foster a culture where volunteer efforts are both recognized and encouraged. By publicly celebrating these contributions, the committee supports member engagement and reinforces the professional standards of technical analysis. Its work ensures that those who dedicate their skills and passion to advancing the Association receive meaningful acknowledgment from their peers and the broader organization.
