SHAPE THE FUTURE OF TECHNICAL ANALYSIS
CMT Association committees are standing bodies of charterholders who steward a specific function of the Association — curriculum, ethics, governance, programming, and more. Committee members are appointed based on qualifications and experience.
Core Responsibilities
- Champion professional advancementActively promote the career growth and inclusion of Black practitioners within the technical analysis community
- Provide networking forumCreate and maintain a supportive space dedicated to networking and leadership development for Black members
- Advise on diversity and inclusionOffer informed guidance to CMT Association leadership on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives and policies
- Reduce systemic barriersIdentify and work to eliminate obstacles that hinder entry and advancement of Black professionals in the field
- Build leadership pipelineDevelop programs and opportunities to cultivate a visible and strong pipeline of future Black leaders within the Association

- Provide a supportive forumProvide a supportive forum for Black members and allies for networking and mentorship
- Develop initiatives to support careerDevelop initiatives to support career and leadership development
- Host targeted eventsHost targeted events and content (e.g., webinars) focused on community needs
- Develop campus and employer partnershipsDevelop campus and employer partnerships to build a talent pipeline
- Conduct DEI education within the community
