SHAPE THE FUTURE OF TECHNICAL ANALYSIS
CMT Association committees are standing bodies of charterholders who steward a specific function of the Association — curriculum, ethics, governance, programming, and more. Committee members are appointed based on qualifications and experience.
Core Responsibilities
- Act on behalf of BoardMake decisions and take actions between full Board meetings to maintain governance continuity
- Ensure leadership continuityProvide seamless and ongoing leadership to support the Association’s strategic direction and operations
- Liaise between Board and CEOServe as the primary communication channel between the Board and CEO/staff to facilitate alignment and information flow
- Advise CEO strategicallyOffer guidance and counsel to the CEO on key strategic initiatives and organizational priorities
- Oversee fiduciary healthMonitor financial health and risk management to safeguard the Association’s assets and compliance between Board meetings
Core Activities
- Act decisively on urgent matters within authority
- Set the agenda for full Board meetings
- Coordinate activities of all other Board committees
- Advise the CEO/Staff on day-to-day governance
- Ensure leadership continuity during transitions
