The Group Experience
SHAPE THE FUTURE OF TECHNICAL ANALYSIS

CMT Association committees are standing bodies of charterholders who steward a specific function of the Association — curriculum, ethics, governance, programming, and more. Committee members are appointed based on qualifications and experience.

Core Responsibilities

  • Manage award lifecycle
    Coordinate all stages of the Charles H. Dow Award process, from call for submissions through final selection and announcement
  • Promote original research
    Encourage and recognize high-quality, innovative research contributions within the technical analysis community
  • Conduct blind judging
    Implement a rigorous, unbiased evaluation process to assess submissions without revealing author identities
  • Certify award winners
    Formally validate and present the selected winning paper(s) to the CMT Association Board for approval
  • Advance technical knowledge
    Support the growth and dissemination of the global body of knowledge in technical analysis through the award
