CMT Association committees are standing bodies of charterholders who steward a specific function of the Association — curriculum, ethics, governance, programming, and more. Committee members are appointed based on qualifications and experience.
Core Responsibilities
- Coordinate global chapter networkAct as the central architect and chief coordinator for all CMT Association chapters worldwide, ensuring alignment and collaboration across regions
- Develop strategic visionProvide long-term strategic direction and foundational standards that guide local chapter development and operations
- Support local leadershipOffer essential resources, guidance, and assistance to empower volunteer leaders managing local chapters
- Maintain member experience qualityEnsure a consistent and high-quality experience for members engaging with chapters globally
- Foster member engagementEnable and encourage all members to actively participate in the professional growth and community life of the Association through chapter activities
Core Activities
- Set policy and foundational standardsSet policy and foundational standards for regions, chapters, and communities
- Oversee the formation and growth of new chapters
- Approve new Chapter groups
- Develop toolkits and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Develop toolkits and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for chapter operations
- Facilitate cross-region sharingFacilitate cross-region sharing of best practices among leaders
