Ethics & Standards Committee (E&S)

The Ethics & Standards Committee (E&S) is a global body of senior and independent Chartered Market Technician® (CMT) Charter Holders charged with enforcing the CMT Association’s Code of Ethics. This committee investigates formal complaints of professional misconduct, conducts hearings in line with the Association’s bylaws, and recommends disciplinary actions to the Board of Directors. By ensuring adherence to rigorous standards of competence, integrity, and ethical judgment, the E&S Committee preserves the credibility of the CMT designation.
