The New York Community serves as the local hub for CMT Association members in the region, offering in-person networking, educational events, and candidate support focused on technical analysis. As the largest and historically significant community within the Association, it connects professionals in the world’s foremost financial center to advance the practice and understanding of market analysis. The group organizes quarterly meetings, outreach to universities and employers, and fosters a culture of learning and inclusion. By providing direct resources and engagement opportunities, it supports the growth and professional development of members and candidates while maintaining compliance with local governance standards.

Mission

The New York Community’s mission is to cultivate a vibrant, inclusive environment that advances technical analysis through regular, high-quality local programming and member engagement. We deliver educational presentations, networking events, and outreach initiatives to strengthen awareness of the CMT Program and its relevance in the regional market. Our volunteer-led group prioritizes intellectual rigor, professional development, and collaboration with academic and industry partners. We uphold the standards and governance requirements set by CMT Association leadership, ensuring transparency and accountability in all activities. By fostering connections and sharing expertise, we empower members and candidates to excel and contribute meaningfully to the discipline of technical analysis.
