The Bangkok Community is a local network of technical analysis professionals and advocates based in Thailand, focused on advancing the practice of rules-based analysis within the Thai financial markets. It comprises Active Professional Members, Affiliate Members, and CMT Program candidates who engage through regular in-person events, educational seminars, and peer support initiatives. The group facilitates candidate support, promotes technical analysis education, and fosters collaboration among members to strengthen analytical expertise and professional standards locally. Operating under the authority of the CMT Association and its regional governance, the Community connects members to the broader mission of the Chartered Market Technician® (CMT) Program while addressing the specific needs of the Bangkok market.

Mission

The Bangkok Community advances technical analysis professionalism by organizing high-quality educational events, facilitating peer-to-peer knowledge exchange, and supporting local Chartered Market Technician® (CMT) candidates. We uphold values of integrity, discipline, and community engagement by maintaining a self-governed volunteer structure that delivers reliable programming and outreach. Our efforts focus on building a vibrant local network that enhances members’ analytical skills and career development while promoting rigorous, rules-based analysis within Thailand’s capital markets. By collaborating with universities, employers, and industry experts, we aim to increase awareness of the CMT Program and foster a culture of continuous learning. We operate transparently within CMT Association policies, ensuring compliance with governance requirements and alignment with the Association’s global standards. Ultimately, we provide a trusted hub for members to connect, learn, and contribute to the professionalism of the local financial community.
