The Vancouver Community is a local network of market professionals and Chartered Market Technician® (CMT) candidates focused on the Canadian West Coast. It facilitates in-person networking, educational events, and outreach to universities and employers to promote technical analysis and the CMT Program. This community serves as a hub for professional development and peer support within Vancouver’s unique financial and venture capital environment. By connecting members with local resources and global insights, the community reinforces disciplined market study as a key driver of career success in the Pacific Northwest.

Mission

The Vancouver Community advances the disciplined study of technical analysis by fostering a collaborative and inclusive local network of market professionals and CMT candidates. We deliver regular educational events, workshops, and outreach initiatives tailored to the region’s financial landscape. Our volunteers uphold professional ethics and provide direct support to candidates pursuing the Chartered Market Technician® designation. We maintain transparent governance and compliance with local requirements while cultivating engagement through consistent communication and active member participation. By bridging local expertise with global standards, we contribute to the professional growth and success of our members and the broader CMT Association mission.
