The Mumbai Community is the largest Asia-Pacific hub within the CMT Association, serving as a focal point for technical analysis in India. It comprises local members, candidates, and volunteers committed to advancing the Chartered Market Technician® (CMT) designation through in-person networking, educational events, and outreach. The community facilitates connections with key financial institutions on Dalal Street and supports candidates preparing for the CMT Program. By fostering a collaborative and professional environment, the Mumbai Community contributes to the broader mission of promoting rules-based trading and investment in the region.

Mission

The Mumbai Community advances technical analysis in India by delivering regular, in-person events that foster professional development and peer engagement. It upholds values of leadership, inclusivity, and rigor, ensuring members and candidates access relevant education and networking opportunities. Through strategic partnerships with local universities and firms, the community promotes awareness of the CMT Program and the standards of the Chartered Market Technician® designation. Volunteer leadership manages programming and outreach with transparency and adherence to governance requirements. Ultimately, the community strengthens the local market technician network, supporting members in applying disciplined, rules-based analysis within the evolving financial landscape.
