Pittsburgh Community

About

The Pittsburgh Community is a regional network of technical analysts and CMT Program candidates based in Western Pennsylvania. This group facilitates in-person professional networking, educational sessions, and outreach to local universities and employers. By connecting members to the area's economic and academic environment, the community supports practical application of technical analysis aligned with the Chartered Market Technician® (CMT) Program. It serves as a local hub for knowledge exchange, candidate support, and member engagement within the Pittsburgh financial sector.

Mission

The Pittsburgh Community advances technical analysis by fostering a collaborative and informed local network. We organize regular meetings, educational presentations, and outreach initiatives that connect members and candidates with regional academic and industry resources. We uphold values of rigor, inclusivity, and practical relevance, bridging theory and application in the Pittsburgh market. Through volunteer leadership and structured programming, we provide members with opportunities to deepen expertise, share insights, and support one another's professional development. Our efforts contribute to the integrity and recognition of the Chartered Market Technician® (CMT) Program within the local financial community.
