About

The Manila Community is a local network of technical analysis professionals and CMT Program candidates based in the Philippines. It facilitates in-person educational events, networking opportunities, and outreach initiatives to promote technical analysis and the Chartered Market Technician® (CMT) designation within the local financial industry. The community supports members’ professional development through study groups, presentations, and collaboration with universities and employers. As an operational unit within the APAC Chapter, it upholds governance standards and serves as a hub for knowledge exchange and local engagement in the Philippine capital markets.

Mission

The mission of the Manila Community is to foster a vibrant, inclusive professional network that advances technical analysis expertise and the recognition of the Chartered Market Technician® (CMT) designation in the Philippines. We deliver regular educational programs and networking events designed to support members’ career growth and candidate success. We uphold ethical standards and promote rigorous technical analysis education by collaborating with local universities and employers. Through transparent governance and active volunteer leadership, we ensure reliable, impactful programming that strengthens local market professionalism. Our commitment is to connect practitioners, encourage knowledge sharing, and contribute to the development of the Philippine capital markets in alignment with CMT Association’s global standards.
