The Columbus Community is a regional network of technical analysts in Central Ohio dedicated to advancing the practice of technical analysis locally. Comprised of Active Professional Members, Affiliate Members, and candidates pursuing the Chartered Market Technician® (CMT) designation, this community facilitates in-person events focused on education, networking, and peer support. It connects members with local universities, employers, and industry experts to promote rigorous analytical standards and career development. By supporting candidates through study groups and information sessions, the community plays a critical role in sustaining a knowledgeable and engaged technical analysis presence in a growing financial and technology market.

Mission

The mission of the Columbus Community is to cultivate a vibrant, inclusive network of technical analysts who advance the discipline through education, collaboration, and local engagement. We organize regular meetings, technical presentations, and outreach initiatives to foster knowledge sharing and professional growth among members and candidates. Upholding values of rigor, accessibility, and mutual support, we provide resources and peer-to-peer connections that empower individuals pursuing the Chartered Market Technician® (CMT) Program. Through partnerships with universities and employers, we enhance awareness and application of technical analysis in the Central Ohio market. Our commitment to consistent governance and volunteer leadership ensures reliable delivery of programming that aligns with CMT Association standards and benefits the broader membership.
