The Bangalore Community is a regional group within the Asia-Pacific Chapter focused on advancing quantitative and systematic technical analysis in India's technology hub. Comprised of CMT Association members, candidates, and local volunteers, the Community organizes in-person networking events, educational talks, and outreach to universities and employers. It supports CMT Program candidates through study groups and resources, fostering a collaborative environment that connects technical analysts with the region's technology and financial sectors. The Community operates under the governance of the Chapter and Regional Community Development Committee, ensuring alignment with the broader goals of the CMT Association.

Mission

The mission of the Bangalore Community is to cultivate a specialized, evidence-based technical analysis network within India’s technology capital. We deliver regular, in-person events and targeted outreach to build local expertise in algorithmic trading, FinTech, and data science. By facilitating knowledge exchange and professional connections, we empower members and candidates to apply disciplined methodologies rooted in the CMT Body of Knowledge. We uphold values of rigor, innovation, and inclusion, maintaining transparent governance and compliance with local requirements. Our efforts aim to strengthen the presence of technical analysis in the regional market and support the professional development of CMT Association constituents.
