The Austin Community is a regional network of technical analysts based in the Silicon Hills area of Texas, focused on advancing the practice of technical analysis within a high-growth, technology-driven market. It comprises active members, candidates, and volunteers who engage through in-person events, educational presentations, and local outreach. The community supports the Chartered Market Technician® (CMT) Program by providing resources, study groups, and connections to fintech leaders and institutional experts in Austin. It plays a critical role in fostering professional development and knowledge exchange tailored to the unique economic environment of the region.

Mission

The mission of the Austin Community is to cultivate a vibrant, inclusive professional network that advances technical analysis in the Austin region through regular in-person engagement and targeted educational programming. We prioritize innovation, connectivity, and practical application by facilitating events, candidate support, and collaborations with local universities and employers. Our volunteer-led group upholds the values of rigor, professionalism, and community stewardship to maintain alignment with CMT Association standards. By integrating local market expertise and fostering meaningful connections, we aim to empower members and candidates to apply rules-based technical analysis effectively in dynamic market conditions.
