The Tampa Community is a regional network of technical analysts and CMT Program candidates based in Central Florida. It facilitates local, in-person events that foster professional development, knowledge sharing, and networking among members. The community supports educational initiatives and candidate resources tailored to the area's growing financial sector. By connecting practitioners and promoting disciplined market analysis, it strengthens the presence and value of the Chartered Market Technician® designation in the Tampa region.

Mission

The Tampa Community advances technical analysis by cultivating a collaborative and inclusive local network of professionals and candidates. It delivers regular educational events, study groups, and outreach programs that enhance members’ expertise and engagement. The community upholds the values of rigor, ethics, and continuous learning while promoting the CMT Program within the regional financial ecosystem. Through volunteer leadership and partnerships with local institutions, it ensures members receive relevant resources and opportunities to grow professionally. The community commits to transparent governance and alignment with CMT Association standards to maintain trust and effectiveness in serving its members.

CMT Association communities are interest-driven groups that explore a specific topic, technique, or market niche. Community leaders curate content, host discussions, and connect members who share a professional focus.
