About

The Southeast US Chapter is a regional body within the CMT Association that connects city-level communities across the Southeastern United States’ financial sectors. It comprises active professional members, including Chartered Market Technicians®, who organize local networking events, educational presentations, and candidate support initiatives. The Chapter acts as a hub for member engagement, leadership development, and the promotion of the CMT Program in the region. It supports consistent standards and governance while fostering collaboration among members and local partners to enhance professional growth and recognition of technical analysis.

Mission

The Southeast US Chapter advances the CMT Association’s mission by coordinating and supporting a network of city-level communities throughout the Southeastern United States. We deliver targeted educational programming, leadership development, and professional networking to meet the diverse needs of our members and CMT Program candidates. We uphold values of regional collaboration, professional advocacy, and community empowerment, ensuring that members access a high-quality platform for career advancement. By promoting the Chartered Market Technician® designation, we seek to increase its recognition among employers and institutions in the region. We maintain governance standards and provide resources to local leaders, enabling consistent member support and engagement. Our efforts contribute to a vibrant technical analysis community that reflects the evolving dynamics of the financial industry in the Southeast.
