The Asia-Pacific (APAC) Chapter Development Committee (CDC) drives the strategic growth and professionalization of technical analysis across the Asia-Pacific region. Comprised of active CMT Association members and Charter Holders, the committee supports volunteer-led communities in key financial centers from India to Hong Kong. It facilitates local engagement through networking events, study groups, and educational programs tailored to regional market needs. The committee also advocates for the CMT designation among employers, regulators, and academic institutions, ensuring consistent access to high-quality resources aligned with global standards. By providing localized insight and support, the APAC CDC strengthens the region’s technical analysis community and advances the CMT Association’s mission.

The Asia-Pacific Chapter Development Committee (CDC) leads the strategic expansion and professionalization of the CMT Association’s presence in the Asia-Pacific region. CMT Association committees are standing bodies of charterholders who steward a specific function of the Association — curriculum, ethics, governance, programming, and more. Committee members are appointed based on qualifications and experience.

    Lead initiatives to expand and professionalize the CMT Association presence across the Asia-Pacific region, aligning growth with both global standards and local market dynamics
  • Support chapter development
    Provide essential resources, strategic advice, and targeted guidance to emerging and rapidly growing CMT communities within the region
  • Promote CMT designation value
    Enhance awareness and advocate for the professional benefits and recognition of the Chartered Market Technician® designation among regional stakeholders
  • Ensure quality member experiences
    Facilitate consistent access to high-quality educational programs and networking opportunities tailored to the needs of Asia-Pacific members
  • Balance global and local needs
    Maintain alignment with CMT Association global standards while adapting strategies to address specific market conditions and cultural contexts in the Asia-Pacific region
