Comprised of experienced members, including active Charter Holders with chapter leadership backgrounds, the committee establishes foundational standards and strategic guidance to support local volunteer leaders. It oversees the formation and growth of new chapters, ensuring consistent quality and relevance across diverse markets. By fostering vibrant, professional hubs for networking and education, the CDC connects members globally while respecting local contexts, enhancing the overall member experience within the CMT Association.

The Global Chapter Development Committee (CDC) advances the CMT Association's mission by architecting and sustaining a unified, high-quality global chapter network. SHAPE THE FUTURE OF TECHNICAL ANALYSIS

CMT Association committees are standing bodies of charterholders who steward a specific function of the Association — curriculum, ethics, governance, programming, and more. Committee members are appointed based on qualifications and experience.

Core Responsibilities

  • Coordinate global chapter network
    Act as the central architect and chief coordinator for all CMT Association chapters worldwide, ensuring alignment and collaboration across regions
  • Develop strategic vision
    Provide long-term strategic direction and foundational standards that guide local chapter development and operations
  • Support local leadership
    Offer essential resources, guidance, and assistance to empower volunteer leaders managing local chapters
  • Maintain member experience quality
    Ensure a consistent and high-quality experience for members engaging with chapters globally
  • Foster member engagement
    Enable and encourage all members to actively participate in the professional growth and community life of the Association through chapter activities
